So here's a piece I finished back in March. This piece was not so much about conveying a message or theme like my other pieces but rather a study of realism. I did incorporate the BoonDock Saints AEQUITAS tattoo and a praying mantis to play off of the praying hands... A mantis kills its mate, and praying hands symbolize the loss of a loved one. This is a study of what later will be a full thought out idea.....different pose,etc.

New Old painting
