Losing my religion...
As far as religion goes, Christianity tells us that nobody can go to heaven and live an eternal life unless they know Jesus and have been "saved" by him.
So my question is, what about all the many many people who lived and passed away hundreds of thousands of years before "Christ" was born\created\invented)?
They didn't know anything about his existence. So does this mean they all go to hell and burn forever?
Would an authentic, loving and just God allow that to happen to all of those innocent people?
*No "Bible-Spouting", please. Just use reason and common sense.*
