Wingsuit Pictures and Videos
Showcasing cool wingsuit pictures and videos of wingsuit base jumping from around the world. Wikipedia defines Wingsuit flying as 'the sport of flying the human body through the air using a special jumpsuit, called a wingsuit, which adds surface area to the human body to enable a significant increase in lift'. Modern wingsuit designs create the surface area with fabric between the legs and under the arms. A wingsuit can also be called a birdman suit or squirrel suit.

How To Start Wingsuit flying
Many companies require you to have obtained 200 skydives in the past 18 months or 500 skydives in total. Once you have this there are a number of dropzones which have coaches on site - Sibson in the UK is a well known host of wingsuiters.
If you have no jumps at present, you will need to be at least 16 years of age and complete an AFF/RAPS course to become a qualified skydiver. From here you can build up jump numbers on tracking suits (mini wingsuits) or delve into other parts of the sport to build up your jump numbers.
Where Can I Learn to Wingsuit?
Just about any dropzone in the world once you're qualified. Check out dropzone.com to find your nearest!
What Does Wingsuiting Feel Like?
Because humans don't feel speed as a sensation, it feels very calm and smooth. As you progress onto bigger suits, it is the power of the suit that is really impressive, as even the smallest flinch can send you in a completely different direction. It is much like that sensation of a child running around the garden pretending to be a plane.
Where Can I Buy a Wingsuit?
You can buy a wingsuit direct from the manufacturer - Tony Suits, Birdman, S-fly etc.
You can also rent in the US and UK from a company called Wicked Wingsuits.

Cool Snowboarding Movie - The Art of Flight
Cool snowboarding movie 'the art of flight' will be released on DVD and iTunes worldwide on 8th Sept 2011. Awesome! Snowboarder Travis Rice along with a cast of the best snowboarders in the world complete a 2 year quest to redefine what ís possible on a snowboard. Check out the trailer here:
A lot of the equipment used to film the movie 'the art of flight' was custom built for the job, enabling the film makers to show off locations and experiences from around the world in the truest way possible. A joint production between Red Bull Media House and Brain Farm Digital Cinema, the film was directed by Curt Morgan.
