Music Industry Pressuring Beyonce, Usher and Mariah To Return "Blood Money"

According to US magazine, the music industry is putting intense pressure on singers Beyonce, Usher and Mariah to return the millions they received to perform for the son of murderous dictator Moammar Gaddafi.
Industry insiders are speaking out about the shameful, greedy behavior of these narcissistic celebrities. They hope Bey, Usher and Mariah will do the right thing and either return the cash or donate it to charity.
Music industry insiders want Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Usher to open up their wallets! Rolling Stone.com reports that the trio of Grammy winners are being urged to give back the millions of dollars they earned performing for the family members of Muammar Gaddafi. The Obama Administration has called for the Libyan dictator — Muammar Gaddafi. The Obama Administration has called for the Libyan dictator — who has ruled for 40 years — to step down after an uprising against him left 1,000 Libyans dead.
Carey banked $1 million for a lavish 2008 New Year’s Eve bash in St. Barts, where she performed for Qaddafi’s son, Muatassim, Libya’s national-security adviser. Beyonce, 29, and Usher, 32, earned undisclosed sums for performing on the same Caribbean island in 2009.
“If it were me, it would go to charity,” Buck Williams, agent for R.E.M. tells Rolling Stone of the money they earned. Seconded David T. Viecelli, agent for Arcade Fire, “Hopefully donate it to a charity that somehow assists some of the people who have suffered at the hands of that regime.”
Pop singer Nelly Furtado has already listened to her conscience. she is returning the $1 million in blood money that she received from Gaddafi.

But so far, the reps for Bey, Usher and Mariah remain silent on this growing controversy. Maybe we should boycott these artists to get a response from them?
